Saturday, March 9th, 2024
2:00pm – 4:00pm
FREE

at St. Andrew’s Pub in Greenlake
(7406 Aurora Ave N Seattle, WA 98103)

Have you ever wanted to write a song? (Perhaps to enter the Robert Kotta Songwriting Contest?)

Fae Wiedenhoeft, award winning singer songwriter, front woman of the band SeaStar, and music teacher, has put together a salty little workshop to help you toss off the dock lines and start your own song writing voyage!

We will cast our lines into: Creativity, The Parts of a Song, Lyrical Show and Tell, Great Songs / Great Writers. We will do some group writing and we will even craft a quick song together!

Participants should bring a little notebook and a writing utensil.
Come with the spirit of adventure, an open heart, and do not be afraid to get your feet wet (metaphorically).

You do not need to play an instrument to write a song. You do have to be willing to hum or sing, perhaps kazoo (not provided).
