1706 NW Market Street, Seattle, WA 98107
(Ballard Odd Fellows Community Center)

We’re combining our Annual Members Meeting with an Open Sing! All are welcome, not just members.
Of course members have advantages: They get to speak during the official members part of the meeting (20-30 minutes), and they get a steep discount on the beer and the flavored seltzer available throughout the event! Non-Members will pay a small price for beer and for seltzer. Light snacks will be free for all.
Come hear what Maritime Folknet has been doing and what we have planned for 2026! …And then sing with us! All this at the Ballard Odd Fellows Lodge!
3:00 PM — Doors open, all welcome! (snacks and drinks)
3:30 PM — The Maritime Folknet Board presents
4:00 PM — Members Discuss
4:30 PM — Sing!!
6:30 PM — Done (straighten the hall and leave)
Why an annual members meeting: As a federal 501c3, our bylaws state that we will hold an annual meeting to inform our members of what we’ve been doing and our future plans, to provide a forum for member feedback, to build member support, and to help members meet each other.
Why a sing: Because, umm… Sing!! …Okay, also because it will help draw attention to what we do among both members and the general public, it will help people meet each other, and it will be far more fun than simply delivering a report and going home!
Who can attend: Anyone who wants to sing with us and/or learn more about what Maritime Folknet has done and is planning to do in 2026.
MARITIME FOLKNET is a federal 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to preserving maritime culture and history, and encouraging people to explore and participate in that culture and history. We do this primarily through the music that highlights our boats and the people who work them, especially in the Pacific Northwest.
This project made possible by a grant from 4Culture
