There are performers we love whom we don’t hear often enough! We’re gathering some of them together for an evening of music at the Couth Buzzard. Come hear the stories from these great voices and sing along!

The Line Up

Fae Wiedenhoeft
With a velvet voice, a hearty laugh, and the traditions of the Celtic winds, Fae Wiedenhoeft takes her listeners on a musical journey through history and tradition. Fae is an award winning songwriter. Her songs tangle truth, whimsy, and the passions of the human heart. She is an accomplished musician and accompanies herself with guitar, mandolin, accordion, banjo, bodhran, and tin whistle. She has toured, solo and with her band SeaStar, across the US Canada, Ireland, Turkey, Poland, England, France, India, and Scotland, sharing the stage with folk legends like Dougie MacLean. Fae also owns a small music school and teaches voice, guitar, ukulele, songwriting and is a performance coach.

Helen Gilbert






Helen Gilbert
Helen Gilbert has been performing sea shanties and other maritime, and non-maritime, songs in the Seattle area for 15+ years. Hailing from the UK, she draws on her family roots and grew up surrounded by folk music from a young age. These days she’s more often seen organizing Maritime Folknet events than performing in them.


Morgan and Graves
Bob Morgan and Lynn Graves perform together as Morgan and Graves, a fiddle and guitar duo doing original and cover songs of various genres. Bob has been writing songs his whole life and was a recent first place winner of the Robert Kotta Memorial Song Writing Contest. Bob and Lynn also played for a while with Mary Grider and Phyllis Baker in Carolan’s Corner, a group that specialized in the music of Turlough O’Carolan. They have also enjoyed joining various fiddle music jams around Seattle.
